Rainbow Soup is a collection of stories about music, art and dance as told by the artists.

The show starts with a trip to the Art Institute in Chicago where our
kids learn about
Marc Chagall’s
“America Windows.”

The kids get an opportunity to make their own stained glass with plyable acetate.

After a break, we are in Seattle, Washington, watching the WOMAD (World of Music, Art and Dance) Festival in full swing. We see an interview with Pato Banton, a Reggae musician and teacher. He shares his wisdom about the importance of growing as an artist and how learning from one’s mistakes is a critical part of it.

We also get to hear Peter Gabriel and exciting live performance by Afro Celt Sound System.

We then travel to London, England, and meet Marcia Williams as she illustrates her most recent
children’s book,
“Greek Myths for Children,”
and her version of “Daedalus and Icarus.”
She discusses her
childhood love of art and how she made her dream to be a working artist come true.

Will introduces historian
and author Studs Terkel, who brings the Greek myth to life by reading to us from Marcia’s book.

The show concludes with our exclusive footage of Peter Gabriel’s exciting performance of “When You’re Falling,” with the Afro Celt Sound System.
